These posters were part of a salesmen's kit for "Type Faces for Printers" from 1941. They're great as-is (I want to frame a whole wall of them), and the text examples are fun to read for hidden jokes and gems. But additionally, I've researched every single one of these typefaces and they can be legally used to create your own fonts since both copyright and patent laws no longer apply to them. Please note that some of the original names of the fonts have been more recently trademarked, so it may be easiest to rename or alter the name of the original type if you do decide to use them as a basis for your own designs.
